Bluff Creek Bigfoot: Unusual Tracks, Vanished Equipment, and Jerry Crew's Cast

A new video has been making the rounds on YouTube, and as a curator for Squatchable, I couldn't wait to share it with our readers. The video, titled "BIGFOOT IN THE FOREST - THE JERRY CREW INCIDENT," takes us back to 1958 near Bluff Creek, California, where a construction Foreman named Jerry Crew made an astonishing discovery. According to the video, Jerry arrived for work on the construction of a road and noticed what looked like a series of footprints that formed a continuous track around and away from his Caterpillar tractor. The scrape road bed was covered with soft areas of mud mixed with patches of loose shale, making it the perfect environment for capturing footprints. The footprints were of a naked human-shaped foot and measured 16 inches long. Ray's brother, Wilbur Wallace, who was also working on this job, had seen the tracks many times and had witnessed many other startling occurrences. It was reported to him by his men that a nearly full 55-gallon drum of diesel fuel had disappeared, and Bigfoot tracks led down the road from a steep bank to a place where it had stood, crossed the road, continued down the hill, and finally went over the lower bank away into the bush. Wilbur found the tracks exactly as the men had stated, and they also found the oil drum at the bottom of a state bank about 175 feet from the road. It had rolled down this bank after having been thrown from the top, leaving no marks in the soft mud indicating that it had been either rolled or dragged. The video goes on to describe other strange occurrences, such as a length of 18-inch galvanized steel culvert disappearing from a dump overnight and being found at the bottom of another bank some distance away, and an air for a carry-all earth mover, weighing over 250 pounds, being carried and rolled a quarter of a mile down the road and hurled into a deep ravine. Jerry Crew's cast of the Bluff Creek Bigfoot measured 16 inches and was completely human except that the toes were relatively small, somewhat rounder, and arranged more squarely to the long axis of the feet.
