Witness Describes Mysterious Figure in Wyoming's Medicine Bow Forest

A chilling encounter with a possible Bigfoot has been reported in the Medicine Bow National Forest in Carbon County, Wyoming. The account comes from a woman who was camping with her family near Encampment and National Forest 71 Road. The woman, her husband, and her parents had set up camp in a clearing surrounded by pine and aspen trees. The campsite was equipped with a fire ring, cooking table, large tent, and three vehicles. The woman and her husband slept in their truck, while her parents slept in the tent. At 5:30 am, the woman's husband left the campsite to go elk hunting. The woman, who had been awakened by her husband's departure, sat up in the truck and saw a black figure run between her parents' tent and the third vehicle. She only caught a glimpse of the figure for half a second and only saw the torso up. Initially, she thought the figure was her husband, but upon further observation, she realized that it was not. She described the figure as being smaller than her husband, both in height and weight, and wearing a hoodie with the hood up. The most striking feature of the figure, according to the woman, was its speed and smoothness of movement. The woman's brother-in-law arrived at the campsite a few minutes after the sighting and went hunting in the woods. He, too, was dressed in camouflage, but the woman noted that his movements were not as smooth and fluid as those of the figure she had seen. The woman's father later mentioned that he had heard noises by the creek all night, which he attributed to a porcupine. The woman herself had felt as though she was being watched while at the campsite alone with their dog the previous day. Despite the chilling nature of the encounter, the woman and her family were unable to find any evidence of the figure's presence. No footprints were found, and the woman was unable to leave a print herself when she tried.
