In a recent video posted on the YouTube channel Encounters USA, festival organizer Bill Miller discusses the upcoming Metaline Bigfoot Festival taking place on June 19th and 20th. The festival, which was inspired by a successful Bigfoot Town Hall event last year, will feature vendors, speakers, and is expected to become an annual event. The festival seems to be centered around the release of a documentary, and Matthew Hines, host of Encounters USA, was invited to attend and cover the event. Hines was also invited to stay in a cabin with Savella Khalil, the founder of the Marble Mountain Bigfoot Festival, and her daughter. As Hines traveled to Eastern Washington for the festival, he had a mission to pick up a package containing DVD copies of the documentary to be played at the festival. He was also informed that Bob Gimlin, famous for his involvement in the Patterson-Gimlin film, would be attending the festival on Saturday. Upon arriving in Medellin Falls, Hines discovered that there were no hotel rooms available. He quickly came up with a plan and set up his tent at the Box Canyon Dam. However, as per his wife's wishes, he later found a hotel that had just opened up. On the first day of the event, Hines interviewed vendors such as Ken and Lori Hamilton from sasquatchthelegend.com. The Hamiltons have been vendors at the festival for two days and sell a variety of Sasquatch-themed merchandise. Throughout the video, Hines provides interesting bits of information, such as the fact that the festival is taking place in the middle of the woods, making it an ideal location for those interested in Bigfoot research. He also mentions that the festival is expected to become an annual event, which is exciting news for Bigfoot enthusiasts. In addition to the festival, Hines will also be filming a documentary about the event and another documentary with a yet-to-be-named individual. It seems that this festival is not only a celebration of Bigfoot but also a hub for Bigfoot-related documentaries. Overall, the Metaline Bigfoot Festival is shaping up to be an exciting event for Bigfoot enthusiasts. With vendors, speakers, and the release of a documentary, there will be plenty to see and do. And for those interested in Bigfoot research, the location of the festival can't be beat. Be sure to check out the Encounters USA video for a sneak peek of what to expect at the festival.
