The creature had bright red eyes and emitted a foul smell, similar to that of roadkill or a deer hanging in the woods for several days. As Brady stood there, frozen in fear, the creature turned and walked into the tree line, making a gurgling grunting noise as it disappeared into the woods. The thrashing and breaking of trees and tree limbs that followed confirmed to Brady that he had encountered something otherworldly.
