Bigfoot sightings have been a topic of fascination for many people around the world for centuries. From the forests of North America to the mountains of Russia, there have been countless reports of large, hairy, bipedal creatures lurking in the shadows. As a video curator, I have come across some of the most intriguing and concerning Bigfoot evidence that the internet has to offer. In this article, I will be sharing some of the top videos that have sparked debate and discussion in the Bigfoot community. First up, we have the infamous Patterson-Gimlin film from 1967. This footage of Bigfoot is arguably the most well-known and analyzed piece of evidence in the history of Bigfoot research. The video was taken in Northern California and shows a Bigfoot walking through the woods. Despite numerous attempts to debunk the footage, none have been successful. Some skeptics have suggested that the creature could be a person in a gorilla suit, but the level of detail and realism in the footage has led many to believe that it is indeed evidence of a real Bigfoot. Next, we have a video from Provo Canyon, Utah, taken in 2012. A group of siblings were hiking when they spotted something in the woods and began filming. At first, they thought it was a bear, but as the creature stood up on its two legs, they realized that it was something much more mysterious. The creature appears to be large and hairy, and its movements are distinctly non-human. The siblings were understandably frightened and ran out of the area, but not before capturing the strange creature on tape. Another interesting piece of evidence comes from Albany National Forest in Pennsylvania. In 2007, a hunter named Rick Jacobs set up a wildlife camera in the forest to capture images of bears, deer, and other wildlife. However, he ended up capturing something much more unexpected. The camera captured an image of a large, hairy creature that appears to be hunched over and walking on two legs. While some skeptics have suggested that the image is simply a sick bear, others believe that it is evidence of a Bigfoot. Moving on to Marble Mountain in California, we have a video from 2001. A group of teens and their leader were camping when they stumbled upon a strange den made out of twigs and large branches. Shortly after, they spotted a weird-looking creature moving nearby. The leader, Jim Mills, filmed the creature for seven minutes. Experts have analyzed the footage and agreed that it is not a human and that the creature is nine feet tall. In Lake James, North Carolina, a man named John Bruner and three other men went on a boat late at night in 2019 to investigate strange noises coming from the shore. They ended up capturing 121 blurry photos of a creature that they believe to be a Bigfoot. The creature was estimated to be around seven and a half feet tall. In Washington state, the Department of Transportation's webcam caught a Bigfoot crossing a mountain pass on State Route 20. The webcam footage shows a large, hairy creature moving quickly across the road. In Russia, a video from 2016 shows a Bigfoot chasing a car. The video was taken on a rural road and shows a black blob appearing in the distance, only to come closer and closer to the car. The creature moves quickly and appears to be aggressive. In January 2013, three Russian children were playing in the snow when they stumbled upon a tall, dark, hairy figure in the distance. The children described the creature as being tall and covered in hair, except for its face. They and their parents believe that they spotted a real-life Bigfoot. In our number one spot, we have a 911 call from Washington state in 1996. A man called 911 to report a tall, dark figure in his yard. The full actual call is available to be listened to online. The man told the operator that the creature was about six foot eight and really big. He also mentioned that his dog was killed in his yard the night before. A week later, the Sheriff's Office got a picture of what seems to be Bigfoot lurking in his neighbor's yard. Bigfoot sightings have been reported for hundreds of years, and the videos and images that have been captured are both fascinating and concerning. While some skeptics remain unconvinced, the evidence continues to mount, leaving many to wonder if there is indeed a large, undiscovered primate roaming the forests and mountains of the world.
