Gray Feline Creature: Protecting Self and Chickens in Laneville, Texas

In a video posted to the YouTube channel Dixie Cryptid, a witness shares their encounter with a mysterious creature on their Texas property. The witness, who prefers to remain anonymous, describes the creature as having a light gray body with no hair, standing at the size of a wolf, and having a tail as long as its body. The creature's head was said to resemble that of a feline more than a canine, with bright blue eyes that "bored into" the witness and their dog, Buffy. The encounter signaled the end of the witness's chicken business, as their dog, Buffy, was deeply affected by the experience and refused to go near the chicken pen unless the witness was with her. A few weeks after the encounter, a feral dog got into the pen and was killed by the witness, who buried it behind the pen.
