Vietnam Vet's Encounter: Bigfoot or 'Rock Apes' of Monkey Mountain?

In a recent video from The Cryptid Huntress's YouTube channel, we were introduced to Bob O'Kelly, a family friend who had a personal encounter with the elusive Rock Apes during his time in Vietnam. While the video primarily focused on O'Kelly's experiences with these mysterious creatures, he also shared some fascinating insights from his life, including his time in the military and his career as a writer. For those unfamiliar with the term, Rock Apes are said to be large, bipedal primates that roam the jungles of Vietnam. He has since written several more novels under the pseudonym Roland O'Connor, all of which are available on Amazon. One interesting fact that O'Kelly shared in the video was that the Rock Apes were first seen by the Marines, who named a mountain after them. The Army later saw them as well, and the indigenous people of the central Highlands have long known about these creatures.
