If you're a fan of the paranormal, then you're in for a treat. The YouTube channel Deep Woods Paranormal recently shared their investigation of the Normandy Inn, which was previously known to be haunted. The hosts, Matt Harvey and his wife Amanda, are the founders and lead investigators of Deep Woods Paranormal, and they investigate anything and everything paranormal, from ghosts and UFOs to bigfoots and cryptid creatures.
In their investigation of the Normandy Inn, Matt and Amanda use some interesting equipment to communicate with the spirits that may haunt the place. One of these is a Tesla coil, which throws out electronic volts like lightning in every direction. The theory behind this is that spirits need energy to manifest, and by creating static electricity, the Tesla coil provides the energy they need to show themselves on camera. Matt and Amanda hope to capture evidence of ghostly apparitions, shadows, or even full-body manifestations on camera, as well as hear voices or footsteps that aren't audible to the human ear.
Another piece of equipment that Deep Woods Paranormal uses is a device that's similar to a Spirit Box. This device can be plugged into a computer to record what it's saying, and it can also be used to communicate with ghosts that may be attached to certain objects, such as the dolls that Matt and Amanda have in their office. These dolls are said to have some kind of energy to them, and they are only allowed to stay in the office and cannot leave. Matt and Amanda have set up a camera in the office to keep an eye on them, and they have noticed a shadow entity that likes to hang out and look through the door.
Deep Woods Paranormal also has a podcast that covers all things paranormal. The podcast is available on iHeartRadio and other platforms, and it covers topics such as Bigfoot sightings, UFO sightings, ghost encounters, and cryptid creatures. Matt and Amanda also share links to sources and other videos in the description of their podcast, so listeners can explore the topics further.

Before we wrap up, we'd like to share a fun fact about Tesla coils. Nikola Tesla, the inventor of the Tesla coil, was born on July 10, 1856, in Smiljan, Croatia. He was a pioneer in the field of electrical engineering and is known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. Tesla coils are still used today in various applications, including radio transmission, television sets, and even special effects in movies and theme parks.
