Some viewers think that the mysterious man is a member of the Lost Pygmy tribe in Indonesia, while others believe it to be the mythical Manti tribe, said to be smaller than the average man and fleeing when they see people from the outside world. In another video, a family watching anxiously from their car parked only feet away captured a faceless creature on camera in Quebec's isolated Gaspé Peninsula. The creature emerges from the trees and creeps to the roadside before scuttling off. The moose, however, seems oblivious to the mysterious creature. The footage has sent the internet into a frenzy, with social media users likening the apparent animal to the Lord of the Rings character Gollum, or the mythical creature believed to be a humanoid in appearance with several references in folklore and horrific urban legends, known as the Rake. In North Carolina, a hiker's eye view captured a dark ape-like figure making its way through the forest. Doug Teague, a Hickory native, believes he has taken what may be the clearest videos of a Bigfoot ever seen in the state. Teague spotted the creature while he was walking his dog through a patch of woods just outside of the city of Hickory. He was checking on some of his trail cameras when he heard loud knocking sounds off in the distance. When he walked closer to investigate, he spotted the creature on top of a ridge and began to record. Teague said the creature could not have been a bear since it began throwing rocks at him when he approached.
