In a recent episode of the Hill Shadows podcast, hosts Jeremiah and Ashley delved into the fascinating world of paranormal phenomena, including a intriguing account of possible Bigfoot evidence from 2015. The story comes from Mitchell Townsend, a Centralia College professor who believes he has discovered scientific proof of the creature's existence.
Townsend's discovery began while walking through the woods near Ryan Lake in East Lewis County, Washington, where he stumbled upon a stack of bones with large human-like teeth imprints. After further examination, he noticed similarities between this find and two additional bone stacks discovered by his students on the south side of Mount St. Helens.
The bone stacking technique, human-like teeth imprints, and the absence of predator or tool marks led Townsend to conclude that the kill sites were the work of a humanoid creature. The trio also found 16-inch footprints with a wider and broader profile than human footprints, suggesting the creature was about 8 feet 8 inches tall.
According to Townsend, the teeth marks in the bone showed impressions of incisors and canines that were beyond the range of human possibility, with a bite ratio twice as wide as a human's. The bones also displayed dental signatures and chewing strategies unique to humans, such as bone peeling.
Townsend's findings suggest the presence of a hominin species living in the area of Mount St. Helens, derived from the breeding of Native Americans and a giant ape. He challenges the scientific community to discredit his information and has offered the bones for examination to any scientists interested in studying them.
While this story doesn't directly involve Bigfoot, it's a fascinating account of possible evidence related to a mysterious humanoid creature. The idea of a hybrid species interbreeding with Native Americans for thousands of years is thought-provoking and adds to the intrigue surrounding such creatures.
In addition to the Bigfoot evidence, the Hill Shadows podcast also touched on the Dover Demon and the Hide Behind, two lesser-known but equally fascinating cryptids. The Dover Demon, first reported in 1977 in Massachusetts, is described as a small, hairless, bipedal creature with glowing orange eyes and gray, tight skin. The Hide Behind, originating from Native American folklore, is a creature said to hide in the shadows and stalk its prey before attacking.
