In a recent episode of the Bigfoot and Beyond Podcast, hosts Cliff Barackman and James "Bobo" Fay answer questions from their listeners about their experiences on the show Finding Bigfoot. One question that came up was whether or not the cast had to follow a script during filming.
Cliff shared that the producers initially tried to script some lines for the cast, but they quickly realized that it wasn't necessary. Cliff and Bobo are both knowledgeable about the subject matter and didn't need to be told what to say. In fact, they were resistant to the idea of having their words put in their mouths. The producers eventually gave up on trying to script anything for them and instead focused on asking Cliff or Bobo to connect certain pieces of evidence or information.
Another listener asked if Cliff and Bobo had ever doubted the existence of Bigfoot. Cliff said that he has never doubted the existence of Sasquatch since becoming familiar with the evidence. He believes that the thousands of eyewitness accounts, footprint casts, and other forms of evidence all point to the presence of a non-human primate in the woods. Bobo agreed, adding that he has had his own personal encounters with Bigfoot that have solidified his belief in their existence.
Towards the end of the episode, Cliff and Bobo discussed the importance of doubting oneself and continuing to ask questions. Cliff mentioned that he thinks the biggest skeptics are often the ones who are least familiar with the evidence. He also posed an interesting question: what would it take for you to think that Sasquatch doesn't exist?
In addition to discussing their experiences on Finding Bigfoot, Cliff and Bobo also talked about the importance of preserving the history of Bigfoot research. They mentioned the Bigfoot museum in Willow Creek, California, which is currently in danger of being destroyed by a nearby fire. Cliff and Bobo urged their listeners to send their thoughts and prayers to the museum and its staff, as well as to their friend Jeff Stewart, who is battling a medical diagnosis.
Before signing off, Cliff and Bobo reminded their listeners that they can submit their own questions to be answered on future Q&A episodes. They encouraged their listeners to be honest and direct with their questions, no matter how sarcastic or blunt they may be.
Overall, this episode of the Bigfoot and Beyond Podcast offered a fascinating look into the experiences and thoughts of two well-known Bigfoot researchers. Whether you're a believer in Sasquatch or just curious about the subject, it's definitely worth a listen.
