Have you heard of the Alaskan Triangle? No, not the infamous Bermuda Triangle, but its colder cousin in Alaska. This region is known for its mysterious disappearances, with 5 out of every 1,000 people going missing each year. While many theories abound, one legend speaks of a massive, hairy creature known as the "Hairy Man" or "Bigfoot" that is said to roam these parts.
Recently, a video from the YouTube channel The UnXplained Zone caught our attention. In the video titled "MASSIVE 14 FOOT CANADIAN BIGFOOT (S1, E2) | Missing in Alaska | Full Episode | The UnXplained Zone", a team of investigators, including a former police officer named Jax, a specialist in strange phenomena named Ken, and an expert on Alaskan legends named Tommy, set out to explore the possibility of the Hairy Man's existence.
The team begins their search at the southern edge of the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park, where an abandoned car was discovered with the driver mysteriously missing. The area is known for its conifer trees, which locals believe the Hairy Man relies on for food and cover.
As they venture deeper into the wilderness, the team discovers strange markings on the trees, which they believe to be a warning from the Hairy Man to keep away. They also find a pile of large stones, which Ken notes are similar to markers used by Native Alaskans called "inuksuk".
The most intriguing discovery, however, is a large footprint, which Ken initially identifies as a double-stepping bear. But upon closer inspection, Jax points out the absence of claw marks and the presence of five toes, leading them to wonder if it could be a Hairy Man footprint.
Excited by their discovery, the team decides to make a plaster mold of the footprint and bring it to an expert at the local zoo for examination. While the expert's analysis is not shown in the video, it is clear that the team is eager to find out more about the mysterious footprint.
Whether or not the Hairy Man exists, the Alaskan Triangle remains a fascinating and mysterious region. With its stunning landscapes and rich history, it is no wonder that it continues to captivate the imagination of many.
