In a video posted to the YouTube channel "My Bigfoot Sighting," a Bigfoot witness shares their experiences of encountering the elusive creature in the North Georgia Mountains. The witness, who prefers to remain anonymous, describes their first sighting during a BFRO expedition hosted by Matt Pruitt in October 2011.
During the expedition, the witness heard strange noises outside their tent and the next morning, discovered that a friend had also heard something walking around their tent. It wasn't until they heard a "whoop" from the hillside that they realized they may have had a Bigfoot encounter.
As time went on, the witness became more familiar with the signs of Bigfoot activity and began to have more encounters with the creature. They spent many nights camping in the North Georgia Mountains with a friend named John Eaves, cooking chili and sitting around a campfire while experiencing various forms of activity.
One of their most memorable encounters occurred when they saw something standing between the trees, but were unable to make it out with their night vision. This led them to upgrade their equipment to a FLIR, a non-recording thermal imaging device.
The witness has also had encounters in Mississippi, including hearing a long howl followed by dogs barking and a tree knock that was "the prettiest knock you've ever heard in your life." They also had an experience with a FLIR in North Carolina, where they captured a non-recording Fleer image of a Bigfoot-like creature walking through their camp.
One interesting bit of information mentioned in the video is the use of FLIR technology in Bigfoot research. FLIR devices can detect heat signatures, making them useful for detecting the presence of a Bigfoot, even in complete darkness. The use of FLIR technology has become increasingly popular in the Bigfoot community, with many researchers using it to gather evidence of the creature's existence.
In addition to their personal experiences, the witness has also participated in expeditions with Lori Wade and has had several encounters with Bigfoot in North Georgia. They describe one particularly memorable encounter where they saw a tree with a "weird growth" that had a "cone head shape and a shoulder." A friend of theirs was able to capture the image on a FLIR device, confirming that it was a Sasquatch.
The witness has not been in the woods for a while, but their experiences serve as a reminder of the mystery and excitement that comes with Bigfoot research. The use of FLIR technology and the witness's personal encounters provide valuable insights into the world of Bigfoot and serve as a reminder that the creature may be closer than we think.
