Encounters with Mysterious Beings: A Cousin's Story of the Unexplained

In a recent video from the YouTube channel Ontario Cryptids, host Terry shares several of his personal encounters with the paranormal, spanning from his childhood to present day. These stories include experiences with aliens, reptilians, and ghosts. Terry's first encounter took place in 1975, when he was just seven years old. He and his siblings lived in an old farmhouse in Charlo, New Brunswick, and would often play with the children from the family that had moved in across the road. One day, while playing in a field behind the trailer, the children noticed something strange at the back corner of the field. At first, they thought it was a person, but as they got closer, they realized it was something else entirely. The figure stood roughly four feet tall and had gray skin. It beckoned to the children, who all followed it through a corner of the woods and down to a valley behind the field. There, they saw a round, saucer-shaped ship. Terry doesn't remember going inside the ship, but his sister does. She recalls that all of the children were inside the craft for a few hours before being returned to the field. Terry's next encounter occurred several years later, when he was sleeping in the hallway of the farmhouse. He woke up in the middle of the night to find a reptilian creature staring in at him through the window. The creature was crouched down, and Terry estimates that it was at least five and a half to six feet tall. He was paralyzed with fear and unable to move or speak. The next thing he knew, he had blacked out. This same sequence of events happened two more times in the following years. In addition to these encounters, Terry has also had experiences with ghosts. One night, while he and his cousins were sleeping in the middle room of the farmhouse, Terry woke up to see a woman in a white nightgown gliding through the open door and out of the bedroom through the closed door. Years later, after his father had passed away, Terry's girlfriend saw a semi-transparent apparition in a white gown floating across the room. Terry's experiences are certainly unusual and intriguing. While they may not be directly related to Bigfoot, they do show that there is a wide variety of paranormal phenomena out there, and that many people have had encounters with the unknown.
