In a recent episode of Paranormal Punchers, the team discussed the Minerva Monster, a mysterious creature said to roam the woods of Ohio. The creature was reportedly seen multiple times in 1978 in Paris Township, just two miles west of Minerva.
Evelyn Keaton and her family and friends reported seeing a six-foot-tall, hairy creature in their backyard. The creature was described as having black and brown matted hair on its head and body, and it was reported to weigh around 300 pounds. The family also reported a strong smell of ammonia and rotten eggs in the area where the creature was sighted.
Deputy James Shannon investigated the reports and spent several hours searching the area with other deputies. They found a piece of a skull, possibly from a cow or other large animal, and tufts of fur on a chicken coop. Some speculate that the creature may have been sitting on the coop at one point.
The Minerva Monster is just one of many mysterious creatures said to roam the woods of Ohio. The state is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including black bears, coyotes, and bobcats. However, the Minerva Monster remains a mystery, with no definitive evidence of its existence.
In other news, the first season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is now available on Blu-ray and DVD. The Emmy-nominated series takes viewers on a journey through the final frontier, with over 100 minutes of special features including exclusive cast interviews, deleted scenes, and a gag reel.
