Bigfoot and Deer: A Curious Connection
Have you ever heard of Bigfoot stealing a hunter's kill? Well, it turns out that there are numerous accounts of this elusive creature making off with hunters' hard-earned game. In fact, deer hunting and Bigfoot seem to have a strange connection. Let's delve into a couple of fascinating stories shared by TCC Research on their YouTube channel.
The first story takes us back to 1961 near Alpine, Oregon. Larry Martin and his friends had a harrowing encounter with a tall, hair-covered Bigfoot while hunting. After shooting a deer, they returned to the location only to find the carcass dragged away. As they cautiously searched the area, they spotted the creature standing just a few feet away. Martin, who stood at 5 feet 10 inches, realized he had to shine his light upwards to illuminate the face of the Bigfoot. The men quickly fled to their car, but it wouldn't start. Through the rearview mirror, Martin could see the Bigfoot standing close behind the vehicle. Eventually, the car started, and the men sped away.
One interesting aspect of this encounter is the speculation that the Bigfoot didn't attack the men because it already had the deer. Perhaps the creature was trying to scare the hunters away from its meal. This theory raises questions about the motivations and behavior of Bigfoot, particularly when it comes to food sources.
The second story comes from Winoga Butte near Bend, Oregon, in the fall of 1957. Jim Newell and Gary Jonas were deer hunting when a deer burst into the clearing, seemingly pursued by something. Jonas quickly shot the deer, and as they checked to see if it was dead, a 9-foot-tall, human-like, hair-covered creature emerged from the brush and snatched up the deer. Despite being shot at, the creature continued walking away, making a strange whistling scream.
It's intriguing to consider why Bigfoot would steal a hunter's kill, especially considering the potential danger involved. Some speculate that Bigfoot might be trying to protect its territory or food sources. Others suggest that the creature might be curious about humans and their activities.
In any case, these stories remind us to be cautious and respectful when venturing into Bigfoot's territory. Who knows? Maybe next deer season, you'll have a close encounter of your own.
