Teenager's Chilling Bigfoot Encounter in West Virginia

Have you ever heard a sound in the woods that you just couldn't explain? Terry Snell, a resident of Texas, had such an experience back in 1984 when he lived in West Virginia. In an interview with TCC Research, he shared his encounter with what he believes was a Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Terry was 14 years old at the time and was living in a trailer with his family in a small town called National, located outside of Morgantown, West Virginia. One night, they heard a woman screaming in the woods behind their trailer. At first, they didn't pay much attention to it, but as the screaming continued and grew louder, Terry became curious and went outside to investigate. He approached the source of the sound, which he estimated to be around 30-40 yards away. It was completely dark, and the hills in West Virginia are notorious for their lack of lights. As Terry listened, he described the sound as a high-pitched, long-duration scream that seemed to vibrate the whole trailer. He had never heard anything like it before and was understandably scared. Terry's family called the police, who suggested that it might have been a mountain lion. However, Terry was skeptical as he had never heard a mountain lion make such a sound before. He later learned that the sound was not made by a fox or any other animal, but was instead consistent with recordings of female Bigfoots. Years later, Terry had another encounter in the same area. This time, he saw something moving in the woods while hunting. He estimated that the creature was over 7 feet tall and had auburn-colored hair with gray mixed in. He couldn't see its face, but he could see its head and shoulders, and there was no neck visible. Terry's experiences are a reminder that there are still many mysteries in the woods, and that not everything can be easily explained.
