In the world of the paranormal, there are certain places that are known to be hotspots for unusual activity. Mount Shasta in California is one such place, and it has a rich history of high strangeness. From legends of a lost continent called Lemuria to UFO sightings and encounters with mysterious beings, this volcanic mountain has it all.
Mike from the YouTube channel Dimensional Walking recently shared his experiences and knowledge about Mount Shasta in a two-part video series. In part one, he delved into the history of the area and the legends that surround it. According to Mike, Mount Shasta is over 14,000 feet high and is located in Siskiyou County in Northern California. It is a volcano and part of the Cascade Mountain range, which is home to several other volcanoes.
One of the most intriguing legends surrounding Mount Shasta is that of Lemuria, a lost continent similar to Atlantis that was said to have existed in the Pacific Ocean. The legend states that one of Lemuria's cities, called Telos, was located under Mount Shasta. Mike explained that Lemurians were described as tall, blond, and peaceful beings who had advanced technology and ESP abilities. They were also said to be great builders who constructed magnificent temples.
Mike also mentioned that there have been consistent UFO sightings around Mount Shasta, with some UFOs reportedly staying in the area for up to 45 minutes. He referenced a book called "Manchester Sightings" by Brian Waldenstein, which detailed these long-term sightings and the theories behind why these beings are here.
Another interesting phenomenon around Mount Shasta is the lenticular clouds that form over the mountain. These clouds can look like UFOs, and some people believe that UFOs are hiding inside them. Mike shared that he has seen these clouds himself and finds them to be quite remarkable.
In addition to the legends and UFO sightings, Mount Shasta is also considered a sacred site by several Native American tribes, including the Klamath people. The Klamath believe that their Chief Spiritual Chief, Skell, descended from the sky and resided at the summit of the mountain.
Overall, Mount Shasta is a fascinating place with a rich history of high strangeness. From legends of a lost continent to consistent UFO sightings and encounters with mysterious beings, this volcanic mountain is a hotspot for paranormal activity.
