In a video posted to The Sasquatch Archives YouTube channel, Sergeant Todd Neiss shares his incredible encounter with Sasquatch from 1996. Neiss, a former military engineer, was working on a project in the Saddle Mountain Watershed in Oregon when he and his team had a close encounter with not one, but three Sasquatch.
Neiss describes the creatures as being at least 7 to 8 feet tall, with the middle one being the tallest. He notes that the proportions of the arms and legs were significantly different from a human's, with the arms hanging down well below the knees and the waist being much higher. Unfortunately, he was not close enough to make out any facial features or experience the classic Sasquatch smell.
The team had been working in a remote and densely wooded area, with no public access. Neiss mentions that the area was so dense that you couldn't see 10 feet off the road. He also notes that the Sasquatch seemed to be bold, returning to the site multiple times to observe the team.
Six months after the initial encounter, Neiss and a colleague returned to the site and found what appeared to be tracks. Neiss mentions that it took him six months to gather the courage to return to the site, as he was intimidated by the size of the creatures.
In the video, Neiss also touches on the use of explosives in the area and how it may have affected the Sasquatch. He mentions that the explosions were so powerful that they rocked the world and that it's amazing that the Sasquatch would be bold enough to return to the site after such a disturbance.
Neiss's encounter is a fascinating glimpse into the world of Sasquatch and their behavior. His description of the creatures' proportions and behavior provides valuable information for those researching and studying Sasquatch.
In addition to the Sasquatch encounter, Neiss also mentions the use of military equipment and the training he received in the military. This aspect of the video provides an interesting look into the world of military engineering and the skills and equipment used in such projects.
It's good to note that Neiss's encounter is just one of many reported sightings and encounters with Sasquatch. The creature has long been a topic of fascination and debate, with many people believing in its existence and others remaining skeptical.
