Uncovering 1980s Bigfoot Sightings: Bowie County to Essex

Greetings, fellow Bigfoot enthusiasts! I'm thrilled to share with you some intriguing encounters that I've recently come across on YouTube. These stories involve not only Bigfoot but also other mysterious creatures that roam the woods. So, buckle up and get ready for a thrilling ride! Our first encounter takes us to Bowie County, Texas, in November 1986. A man was deer hunting with his nephew when they smelled a foul odor and heard something moving in the thicket. The man initially thought it was his nephew, but as the creature moved away, he caught a glimpse of its immense size and dark brown fur. This seven-foot-tall beast left him in awe and questioning his sanity. Moving on to St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana, in 1989, a man had a chilling encounter while waiting for his brother to go hunting. He heard a noise behind him and turned around to find two large red eyes staring back. The credibility of this sighting is reinforced by its appearance in a local newspaper. In Ponchatoula, Louisiana, a 12-year-old and their cousin had two separate encounters with a hairy, black, bipedal creature. The first sighting occurred while they were riding their mini-bikes, and the second took place when they spotted a bush shaking along the train tracks. Both incidents left them shaken and eager to avoid a close encounter. Next, we travel to Gregg County, Texas, where two friends had a terrifying experience while hunting after school in 1987. They spotted a large, furry figure walking along the tree line, which they estimated to be at least seven feet tall. Despite having their guns, they both ran home, filled with fear and uncertainty. Our fifth encounter comes from Harrison County, Texas, where a dog kennel owner has been seeing a seven to eight-foot hairy creature outside their window every night. The dogs seem terrified, and the witness is too afraid to tell anyone, fearing they'll be labeled as crazy. In Harrison County, Texas, a newlywed had a close encounter with a seven to eight-foot-tall creature with long brownish hair. The smell was so putrid that it made them sick. After taking shots at the creature, they ran back to the house, hearing it grunting and breathing in the woods nearby. Our final encounter takes us back to the United Kingdom, where a witness growing up in a rural area near Essex encountered a beastly creature in their garden. The memory of this terrifying experience has stayed with them for years.
