In a recent video from the Bigfoot Society YouTube channel, host Ronnie Roseman shares some of his most incredible Bigfoot encounters yet. Ronnie, a long-time Bigfoot researcher from the Pacific Northwest, takes us back to the beginning of his fascination with the elusive creature.
At the age of nine, Ronnie's aunt, who lived in Eureka, California, gave him a book called "Stranger Than Fiction" by Frank Edwards. The book contained a section about the Abominable Snowman, which sparked Ronnie's interest in the creature. Around the same time, road construction in the Bluff Creek area of California, led by Ray Wallace, uncovered Bigfoot tracks. Ronnie's aunt saved all the newspaper clippings about the discovery and gave them to him for Christmas that year. It was then that Ronnie's passion for Bigfoot began.
Ronnie was 16 or 17 years old when the famous Patterson-Gimlin film was released in 1967. The film, which appears to show a Bigfoot walking through the woods, had a significant impact on Ronnie's interest in the creature. He even went so far as to order a tranquilizer gun, hoping to one day shoot a Bigfoot. However, his plans were foiled when he realized that he didn't know where to get the tranquilizer drug.
Ronnie's first real Bigfoot expedition didn't happen until the late 90s, after he had retired from collecting snakes. He went on an expedition with Richard Greenwell, the Secretariat of the International Society of Cryptozoology, and Dr. Michael Rory Macklin, the vice president. The team went to the Fiski's in northern California, where they had some interesting encounters with what they believed to be Bigfoot.
One night, after blasting Bigfoot calls in the canyons, Ronnie heard a "quick snap" on the other side of his tent. He couldn't see anything, but the sound was close enough to make him aware that something was nearby. The team also encountered tracks and other evidence of Bigfoot in the area.
In addition to sharing his Bigfoot encounters, Ronnie also talks about his love for mysteries and unexplained phenomena. He has always been drawn to the unknown and the possibility of something out there that we don't yet understand.
If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, this is a must-watch video. Ronnie's stories are both fascinating and captivating, and his passion for Bigfoot is contagious. Be sure to check out the Bigfoot Society YouTube channel for more videos like this one.
