If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, you'll be thrilled to know that the Backroads Tourist YouTube channel recently shared their experience at the 2023 Nebraska Bigfoot Conference. The conference, held in Hastings, Nebraska, is a two-day celebration of all things Bigfoot, featuring speakers, vendors, and even movie screenings. One of the highlights of the conference was a conversation with Keith Crabtree, who played Bigfoot in the movie "The Legend of Boggy Creek." Crabtree shared his experiences on set and how his portrayal of Bigfoot has inspired others to pursue research and investigation of the elusive creature. In addition to hearing from experts and witnesses, attendees also had the opportunity to listen to and talk to people with different theories about Bigfoot, as well as those who claim to have had sightings and encounters. Another interesting aspect of the conference was the showing of two movies and the chance to come face to face with a Bigfoot exhibit. Harriet McFeely, known as the "Bigfoot Lady" and creator of the Bigfoot Museum in Hastings, was also present at the conference. She shared that the event attracted over 400 people and has been taking place for six years, with the exception of a cancellation due to COVID-19. Next year's conference promises to be even bigger and better, as it will be moving about 25 miles north of Hastings to Grand Island, Nebraska. As a curator of this video, I encourage all Bigfoot believers to check out the full video on the Backroads Tourist YouTube channel and see all the exciting happenings at the 2023 Nebraska Bigfoot Conference for yourself. And don't forget to subscribe to the channel for more Bigfoot-related content. But before you go, let me leave you with a fun fact: Did you know that the term "Bigfoot" was first used in a 1958 article in the Humboldt Times in California? Prior to that, the creature was often referred to as "Sasquatch" by Native American tribes. Thanks for stopping by and happy squatching!
