Have you ever had an experience that left you feeling both terrified and amazed? That's exactly how Lupe Mendoza felt when she and her son had a close encounter with what she believes was a Bigfoot while hiking in Mount Rainier, Washington. In a video posted on the YouTube channel TCC Research, Lupe shares her story in a calm and collected manner, but it's clear that the experience has had a profound impact on her. She describes finding strange footprints and smelling an unpleasant odor, which led her and her son to believe that they were not alone in the woods. As they continued on their hike, they heard two park rangers talking about a "Dave" who had encountered something unusual in the area. Lupe decided to show the rangers the photos she had taken of the footprints, but they didn't seem interested and quickly dismissed her. Undeterred, Lupe and her son continued on their hike and soon found themselves on a trail that led them to a clearing. It was there that they saw something black and massive, leaning against a tree and staring back at them. Lupe describes the creature as having broad shoulders and a head that seemed to blend into its shoulders, like a football player. The creature didn't make any vocalizations, but Lupe could sense its curiosity and wondered if they were doing the same to it. She and her son watched in awe as the creature leaned over to get a better look at them, and they could see the hair on its body moving in the wind. Lupe estimates that the creature was between 8 and 9 feet tall and covered in black fur. She was able to take a picture, but it was from a distance and didn't turn out very clear. Despite not being able to get a clear shot, Lupe is convinced that what she and her son saw was a Bigfoot. She describes the experience as the best of her life and plans to continue hiking and searching for more evidence of these elusive creatures. But Lupe's encounter isn't just a fascinating story, it also highlights the importance of preserving natural habitats for wildlife. The area where she and her son had their encounter is part of Mount Rainier National Park, which is home to a diverse range of plant and animal species. By protecting these areas, we not only ensure the survival of these species, but we also create opportunities for people to have incredible experiences like Lupe's. So the next time you're out in nature, take a moment to appreciate the beauty around you and keep an open mind – you never know what you might encounter!
