In a recent video from the YouTube channel BEASTLY THEORIES, host Rui Caratao discusses his experiences and research on the Iberian Wodewose, a creature similar to Bigfoot said to inhabit the forests of Portugal and Spain.
Caratao, who is based in the South of Portugal, describes the country as having a "Mexican feel" due to its hot and varied temperatures. He recounts his time spent in the Algarve region, where he would often cycle on the dangerous National 125 road. It was during one of these bike rides that he witnessed a dangerous driving maneuver where cars would overtake into oncoming traffic, forcing other vehicles to move out of the way.
Despite his initial skepticism, Caratao's interest in the subject of wildmen reports in Europe led him to investigate further. He began to find reports of the Bazahoon in Spain and the Pyrenees, which piqued his curiosity. During a family vacation in France, he took the opportunity to visit the Pyrenees and investigate the reports for himself.
As he explored the woods, Caratao noticed strange structures and broken trees pointing in specific directions. It wasn't until he came across his first TP structures, large and complex, that he became convinced of the validity of the reports. He describes the structures as being built in a peculiar way, with branches intertwined in a way that he believes could not have been done by a human.
Caratao also mentions his work as a Wildlife surveyor in his country, where he has never seen such structures or signs of an animal in 20 years of work. He emphasizes the mind-boggling nature of the structures and the need for further investigation.
The video serves as a reminder that the search for unknown creatures is not limited to North America and that there are many reports and sightings from other parts of the world that are worth investigating. It also highlights the importance of keeping an open mind and not dismissing reports outright without proper investigation.
