Have you ever heard of a territorial grove for Bigfoot? Well, according to the YouTube channel Rocky Mountain Sasquatch, it's a real thing! In a video titled "Strawberry Spring Bigfoot Report on Midnight Mountain," the channel's host takes us on a journey to a spot in Idaho where two different groups of people have had encounters with Bigfoot. The first encounter occurred when a police officer drove his truck up a dirt road and got stuck in the snow, ice, and mud. During the night, a Bigfoot approached the truck and sniffed where the officer had been urinating outside. The second encounter happened nearly 10 years later when two hunters and their dogs were camping under a tarp off the side of the same dirt road. The dogs took off into the woods and were chased back by a Bigfoot, which the hunters then fired at. The host of the video believes that this area is a territorial grove for Bigfoot, as evidenced by the numerous "snap-offs" found in the area. A snap-off is when a Bigfoot jumps up and breaks a tree as high up and as big around as they can, sometimes successfully and sometimes not. The host counts over 26 snap-offs in less than an acre, which is a significant number and suggests that this is indeed a territorial grove. In addition to the snap-offs, the host also points out an elderberry bush, which is a food source for Bigfoot. The berries can be made into a juice and are available for several months, making this an ideal spot for Bigfoot to bring females to feed them. But what's even more interesting is the presence of a Mountaintop spring called Strawberry Spring, which provides a water source for Bigfoot and other wildlife. The host suggests that this could be an area that Bigfoot likes to bring females to feed them and provide them with water. Overall, this video is a fascinating look into the world of Bigfoot and the potential existence of territorial groves. It's a reminder that there is still so much we don't know about the natural world and the creatures that inhabit it.
