In a recent video from the YouTube channel HauntingLive Podcast, James Brost and Barry Webster share their experiences with the Ci'Tonga, a group of intelligent beings said to inhabit a reservation in the northern United States. While the video doesn't explicitly mention Bigfoot or Sasquatch, the presence of large, bipedal creatures in a remote location is certainly intriguing to those of us here at Squatchable. James Brost, a headhunter from Sarasota, Florida, found himself drawn to the world of the paranormal after watching shows like "In Search Of" growing up. Through a series of events, he met Barry Webster, an enrolled member of the Omaha tribe of Nebraska and co-founder of a Native American and Bigfoot research team. Barry invited James and his team to document the story of the Ci'Tonga, who have been interacting with the reservation's residents for 15 years. However, the team had to do things the Ci'Tonga's way, which meant leaving behind their call sheets and filming schedules and embracing a more spiritual, prayerful approach. The video is filled with fascinating bits of information, such as the fact that the reservation's winters can reach temperatures as low as 19 degrees Fahrenheit. James also mentions that the timber is bare during this time, making it easier to see any large creatures moving through the area. As James and Barry describe their experiences with the Ci'Tonga, it's impossible not to draw parallels to the world of Bigfoot research. Both involve encounters with large, elusive creatures that are said to possess a certain level of intelligence and spirituality.
