Have you ever heard strange noises outside your home at night, only to dismiss them as something mundane? That's exactly what Mark Paul, a resident of Clay County, Tennessee, did for years until the occurrences became too frequent to ignore.
In a video posted on the Bigfoot Society YouTube channel, Mark shares his encounters with what he believes to be Bigfoot. For years, he heard slapping sounds on the side of his house, wrote them off as birds flying into the side of the house, and ignored them. However, things took a turn in 2008 when he heard tree knocks, which he again dismissed as someone knocking on wood.
It wasn't until recently that Mark began to connect the dots and realize that these occurrences might be related to Bigfoot. In December 2022, his dog started behaving strangely, going to the end of the driveway and rearing up on its hind legs as if trying to see something. Mark also noticed that a blue tick hound behind his house would bark at something most every night for about three months.
One night, Mark heard a scream that he had never heard before, and it rattled his body. His neighbors, who live about 500 yards behind him, were so scared that they jumped in their car and left. Mark believes that Bigfoot has been watching him for years, and they are getting bolder.
Mark's experiences are a reminder that sometimes, the things we dismiss as mundane or explain away as something else might be more significant than we think. It's also a reminder of the importance of being open-minded and considering all possibilities.
But what about Bigfoot's behavior? Why do they make these strange noises and leave gifts like the back leg of a cow? According to Dr. Jeff Meldrum, a professor of anatomy and anthropology at Idaho State University, Bigfoot may be using these behaviors to communicate with each other. Dr. Meldrum suggests that Bigfoot may be using tree knocks to mark territory or communicate with other members of their group.
As for leaving gifts, Dr. Meldrum believes that this behavior might be a way for Bigfoot to communicate their presence or intentions to humans. By leaving a gift, Bigfoot might be saying, "Hey, we're here, and we mean no harm."
Mark's experiences and Dr. Meldrum's insights remind us that there is still so much we don't know about the world around us. Whether you believe in Bigfoot or not, it's important to keep an open mind and consider all possibilities. Who knows, you might have your own Bigfoot encounter one day.
