In a video posted to the YouTube channel The Facts By Howtohunt.com, a man shares his encounters with what he believes to be forest people in East Texas. The video, titled "It Stood Up Beside The River to 9 Ft Tall," features the man discussing his experiences while showcasing his new favorite coffee mug.
The man, who is a retired Marine and grew up in the Trinity River Bottom of East Texas, has spent a significant amount of time in the woods and has never had a visual or audio encounter with the forest people. However, he has come across information about them from a lady who owns a wooden cutout of a Sasquatch outside her establishment. She stated that the hairy man is seen often by many people in the area that is two hours West of Louisiana and between Dallas and Houston.
The man also shares two of his personal experiences with what he believes to be forest people. The first experience occurred when he was 16 years old and decided to stay overnight watching a cattle pond. He was awakened by vibrations and heavy breathing that lasted for a minute, but when he rolled over with his 30 out of six in his hands, everything went quiet. The second experience happened when he was 19 years old, and he and a group of friends from church went deer hunting at the ranch. They heard something moving in the woodline and saw something hitting the side of the cabin. The following morning, they learned that similar things had been reported in the area, and a few local residents had even seen Bigfoot.
The video is a fascinating account of one man's experiences and beliefs about the forest people in East Texas. It's a reminder that there is still much to learn and discover about the world around us, and that sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.
