In a recent video from the Bigfoot Society YouTube channel, host Jeremiah Byron had the pleasure of speaking with Larry "Beans" Baxter, a Bigfoot investigator from the great state of Alaska. Baxter is not only an experienced investigator but also an author, with several books under his belt, including "Abandoned History and Horror of Port Chatham Alaska" and "Squatch Cop: Investigating and Documenting the Bigfoot Phenomenon." During their conversation, Baxter shared a fascinating story about a truck driver who had a sighting on the Kenai Peninsula. The truck driver had mentioned his sighting to a friend, who then reached out to Baxter to see if he could investigate further. Baxter headed to the area, located between mile markers 41 and 48, to look for any signs of Bigfoot activity. As Baxter drove the area, he couldn't help but notice the number of people recreating in the area. He mentioned that if someone were to come across big tracks in the snow, they might think they were just snowshoe tracks, as most people don't have Bigfoot on the brain like he does. One interesting fact that Baxter shared was that there is a place called Devil's Creek Trail in the vicinity of the sighting. This piqued my interest, as there are many places with "Devil" in the name that seem to be areas of Bigfoot activity. I will have to look into that and see if I can find out how that place got its name. Baxter also mentioned that the truck driver had spoken to an older gentleman in a small diner or cafe, who had mentioned a cabin in the woods outside of the same area where they had seen Bigfoot over the years. Baxter had not heard of this cabin before, but he did mention that there are a couple of places in Cooper Landing, not too far from the sighting, that are getting close to Cooper Landing that he has investigated before. Overall, this video was a fascinating look into the world of Bigfoot investigations in Alaska. Baxter's experiences and insights are invaluable to anyone interested in the subject. I highly recommend checking out the video and Baxter's books for more information on this fascinating topic.
