Mysterious Howls and Chills: A Flagstaff Camping Encounter

A group of friends went camping near Flagstaff, Arizona and heard a strange, guttural howl that sounded too human-like to be a coyote. The howling continued the next night, and they felt like they were being watched during a hike. One of the campers heard footsteps and a howl outside his tent, and when he went to investigate, he heard a deep, menacing chuckle that sounded both human and distorted.
