Marine's Shocking Bigfoot Encounter in North Carolina Woods

A thrilling account of a Bigfoot sighting by a U.S. Marine has been making waves in the Bigfoot community. The video, posted on the YouTube channel Bigfoot Adventures With Lisa, tells the story of a chilling encounter that occurred while the Marine was hunting in North Carolina. The sighting took place on October 18, 2010, in a dense, secluded part of the woods between Jacksonville and Richland. The witness was in his deer stand, hunting since 3 PM, when he saw a deer walking along the edge of a clearing. The deer seemed to be looking back into the woods, as if it was curious about something. As the deer got closer, the hunter took a shot and it ran and fell in the bushes. About 30 minutes later, the hunter got down from his tree stand and started dragging the deer towards his truck, which was about a quarter of a mile away. It was getting dark and he had his backpack on and his rifle on his shoulder. He put his flashlight in his mouth so that he could drag the deer with both hands. He didn't stop to re-situate himself and when he looked up with his flashlight and his mouth, he saw eyes looking at him. The eyes were about five foot ten inches off the ground and were really wide set compared to anything he had ever seen in the woods before. He knew it wasn't a coyote or a bear and was freaked out by the fact that he had a fresh kill with him. He took out his nine millimeter Glock and shot into the ground next to himself, hoping it would move off the trail and be scared of him. But the eyes just kept looking at him and didn't even flinch. He then saw the creature look to its left and then back at him. It stared at him for a little bit longer and then went into the woods to the left. The hunter went to the right and started walking down the trail. When he got to the trees where the creature had been, he said it smelled real nasty and musty in that area. He could look to where the animal went off into the woods and saw that about five or six feet up, there were trees busted and branches busted everywhere. He pretty much got out of there as fast as he could and when he got back to his truck, he decided to clean the deer right there on the spot. He left the spine and the ribs and the hide behind. He was really creeped out because he felt like something was watching him the entire time he was cleaning the deer. When he came back to that area, the ribs had moved 300 yards away from where he had left them. The hunter had talked to a farmer in the area about it and the farmer told him that they had been finding very large footprint tracks in the area and the area seemed to be very active with something that they weren't aware of. This is an incredible story, and one that is sure to spark the interest of Bigfoot enthusiasts and researchers alike. The fact that the witness is a U.S. Marine lends credibility to the account, as it is unlikely that someone in the military would make up such a story. The details of the encounter, including the wide-set eyes and the strong, musty smell, are also consistent with other Bigfoot sightings.
