Witnessing a Sasquatch: A Childhood Encounter in Vancouver

After dinner, the witness and his younger sister played in the backyard, which was a large open field surrounded by woods. As they played, they noticed a horrible smell, like a sewer line. Suddenly, the tree line began to move, and the witness saw a large, brown, half-human, half-ape creature moving through the trees. He described its face as human, with a flat nose, wide black pupils, and white borders. The creature's eyes looked into his own without any sign of menace. The Sasquatch extended its hand, revealing black skin and large, oval fingernails. The witness couldn't recall seeing its legs, but its upper body was incredibly muscular and powerful. He had never seen such a strong upper body on any wrestler, football player, or powerlifter. The creature moved with grace and strength, and the witness was left in awe of its presence. After the sighting, the adults in the house grabbed high-caliber rifles and headed outside to investigate. The witness's mother asked what a Sasquatch was, and the oldest man in the home, the grandfather, suggested they go take a look. The group walked outside with their guns, forming a protective formation as they searched the property.
