A strange and intriguing encounter was recently shared on the YouTube channel Modern Explorer, and it has certainly caught the attention of those in the paranormal and UFO communities. The video, titled "An UP CLOSE sighting of a Black Forest Metallic Sphere: UAP or something else?" features a firsthand account of an unusual sighting in Colorado Springs.
In the video, the witness describes their experience while working as an electrician's apprentice in the Black Forest area of Northern Colorado Springs. While taking a break on the back porch of a mcmansion, the witness spotted something unusual. According to their account, a large metallic sphere, about the size of a beach ball and made of what appeared to be aluminum, appeared just 15 feet away. The sphere reportedly hovered for a few seconds before disappearing over the trees, all without making a sound.
The witness goes on to describe the sphere as having a satin finish, rather than a glossy one, and with no noticeable seams or markings. They also mention that the sphere seemed to recognize the witness and vice versa, before quickly leaving the area.
The witness also shares their thoughts on what the sphere could have been, mentioning the drone used by Darth Maul in the Star Wars prequel "The Phantom Menace" as a possible comparison. However, they also acknowledge that the sphere they saw was different, as it did not have any antennas or other markings.
The witness's account is certainly intriguing and adds to the growing body of evidence suggesting that there are unusual and unexplained phenomena occurring in our skies. While it is impossible to say for certain what the witness saw, the fact that they took the time to share their story and provide as much detail as possible is commendable.
