Reptilian Humanoid Sighting in North Carolina's Forests: Jessica Jones Investigates

In a recent video from The Cryptid Huntress, YouTube channel, hosts Jessica Jones, Jeremiah Fountain, and Nick Valente discuss an intriguing encounter with a reptilian creature in the forests of North Carolina. Jeremiah Fountain, a seasoned cryptozoology researcher and MMA fighter, comes from a logging family in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York. He's had numerous encounters with various cryptids throughout his life, including Sasquatch and Dogman. Fountain runs two podcasts, "On the Trail" and "Cryptid Consortium," and is the founder of the research team Paranormal Encrypted Crossroads Research. Nick Valente, a 14-year researcher and paranormal investigator, is the head of the International Dogman Project (IDP). Valente and the IDP aim to gather as much information as possible about the elusive creature known as the Dogman. During a late spring or early summer night in 2020, Fountain and his companions had an unusual experience near a long railroad bed in North Carolina. They heard bipedal footsteps approaching, but despite the murky water filled with alligators and water moccasins, they couldn't see anything. It wasn't until they analyzed the video footage that they discovered an upright, grayish-white reptilian creature carrying something in its arms. The video, taken by Fountain, shows the creature moving quickly through the water, disappearing under the bridge in just a few steps. This encounter is particularly interesting because reptilian cryptids are not frequently reported. However, considering the existence of dinosaurs, alligators, crocodiles, and lizards, it's not entirely implausible that reptilian cryptids could exist.
