New York Man's Encounter with 9-Foot Bigfoot on Connecticut Hill

A few years back, a video was uploaded to YouTube by the channel TCC Research, featuring an interview with a man named John Swaney. In the video, John recounts a fascinating encounter he had with a mysterious creature in Tompkins County, New York, specifically on Connecticut Hill. John's sighting occurred on December 8, 2013, around 8 o'clock in the morning, roughly an hour after sunrise. He was on Leonard Road, which branches off from Van Loon Road, approximately half a mile from the latter. John describes the creature as being at least nine feet tall, with a width of around four feet at the shoulders. Its fur was a solid charcoal black, and John couldn't help but notice the muscle mass and short hair on the creature, which he likened to the famous Patterson-Gimlin footage. Unfortunately, John only saw the creature for about 15 seconds, but in that time, he observed it covering a significant amount of ground. The creature's strides were at least four to five feet long, and it wasn't running but walking. John also heard sounds that he believes came from the creature, describing them as a crashing through the thicket, as if trying to get through quickly while pushing things out of the way. John's encounter sparked his interest in researching the creature further. Since that day, he has been dedicating his time to learning more about the mysterious being, even visiting the site of his sighting multiple times. John and his partner have also started their own website, where they share their findings and experiences.
