In a recent video from the YouTube channel Grizzly Is On The Hunt, hosts Grizz and Barb Hartman welcome guests Catherine, Diane, and Sue to discuss all things Sasquatch. The conversation is kicked off by Chris Russell, who shares his research on why Sasquatches walk in a straight line. According to Russell, the reason for this is related to weight distribution and balance. By walking in a straight line, Sasquatches are able to keep their center of gravity over the center line, which allows for better balance and stability, especially for larger individuals like Patty in the Patterson-Gimlin film. This walking pattern also keeps the Sasquatch's center of gravity in the middle, preventing it from shifting to the left or right with each step. Russell goes on to explain that this walking pattern is also seen in trackways attributed to Sasquatches, with each foot falling relatively close to the center line. He notes that this is a common characteristic of Sasquatch tracks, and that it is seen in most trackways that are found. The conversation then turns to the latest results from the Sasquatch DNA project being led by Melba Ketchum. Russell mentions that they are currently working on dogman DNA, and that while he is aware of the subject, it is not something he has done a lot of research on. Towards the end of the video, Russell brings up the topic of Larry Batson, a friend of the show who is currently struggling with Parkinson's disease. He asks for thoughts and prayers for Batson and his wife Cheryl, who are both going through a difficult time. Russell also mentions that they have a lot of animals that they are taking care of and are in need of financial support to avoid having them destroyed. Overall, the video provides an interesting discussion on the walking patterns of Sasquatches and the latest developments in Sasquatch DNA research.
