If you're a fan of cryptids and low-budget horror flicks, then you're in for a treat with this one. Recently, I stumbled upon a video from the YouTube channel Creature Movie Reviews, and I just had to share it with all of you. The video is a recap and review of a movie called "Taku-He," a Bigfoot-like creature from South Dakota. According to the video, Taku-He is described as a bigfoot-like creature that wears a top hat. The movie follows a film crew that's scouting locations for their next movie, "Anubis, god of the Dead." The crew comes across a farm where the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Owens, claim that a beast has been coming out of the woods at night. Intrigued, the director, Dallas, decides to investigate and discovers a footprint left behind by the beast. As the movie progresses, the crew interviews various locals who have had encounters with Taku-He. Some believe it's a government experiment, while others think it's a spiritual being. The crew even meets with a man who has dedicated an entire room in his house to the creature, and he's the one who named it Taku-He. The crew eventually sets up camp on the farm and takes shifts guarding against any potential Taku-He attacks. Sure enough, the creature makes an appearance, scaring Chuck so badly that he plays dead. The crew manages to capture some blurry footage of the creature, but it quickly disappears back into the woods. The movie takes a dark turn when Lois, one of the crew members, is killed by Taku-He. The remaining crew members must fight for their survival as they try to make it back to their truck. Overall, the movie is a standard low-budget creature feature. The acting is subpar, and the Bigfoot suit looks cheap. However, the movie does have some redeeming qualities. The chemistry between the cast members is impressive, and the movie does a good job of building tension and suspense. If you're a hardcore Bigfoot movie lover, then "Taku-He" is worth checking out. Just be prepared for some cheesy acting and a less-than-convincing Bigfoot suit. You can watch the full review and recap of "Taku-He" on Creature Movie Reviews' YouTube channel.
