In a recent video from the YouTube channel "Weird Around Illinois," the hosts embark on a road trip through Minnesota in search of ghosts and Bigfoot. Their first stop in Winona, Minnesota, proved to be a bit of a disappointment when they discovered that the antique shop they were hoping to explore, "Pieces of the Past," was closed. Despite the setback, they noticed that the shop had a haunted appearance, with a cluttered and ancient look to it. However, upon further investigation with an EMF detector, they didn't pick up any strange readings.
Next, they headed to Rochester, Minnesota, where there have been reports of Bigfoot sightings and ghost sightings. Unfortunately, the ghost tour that runs through the city was not available during their visit. They did, however, visit Indian Heights Park, where Indian burial mounds were discovered. The hosts were intrigued by the fact that the city kept the park open despite the discovery of the mounds, and they couldn't help but wonder if there was more to the story.
As they explored the park, they stumbled upon a path that led into the woods. Despite being in the middle of a city, the area felt very "squatchy" to them. They ended up getting lost in the woods for what seemed like hours, despite their usual good sense of direction. During their time in the woods, they heard cars and kids playing in the distance, but they couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.
One interesting discovery they made in the woods was a structure that looked like a teepee or igloo, made up of trees lined up in a specific way. They also found a package of "Bobo's" snack food nearby, which they couldn't help but associate with Bobo from the TV show "Finding Bigfoot." They couldn't help but wonder if the structure was built by a Sasquatch to honor Bobo.
As they continued to explore, they found a large canine print that seemed too big to be a dog's. They also heard a dog howl in response to one of the host's own howls, which made them feel both appreciated and nervous about being lost in the woods.
Their final stop was a cemetery, but they didn't feel any haunted vibes there. The cemetery was well-kept and clean, with a keeping person down the street making sure everything was in order.
Overall, the hosts had an exciting and mysterious adventure in Minnesota, and they encourage viewers to check out the full video for themselves. Who knows what other strange and unexplained phenomena they may have encountered on their journey?
