In a recent video from the YouTube channel Selkirk Range Sasquatch, host Rocky Markham shares his personal encounter with a Sasquatch and the incredible footprint cast he was able to make of the creature.
Markham, who owns a company called Worldwide Creative Design and the ultimate Bigfoot store, has been carrying casting plaster and water in his backpack for 40 years, just in case he comes across evidence of a Sasquatch. And that's exactly what happened during a visit to Fouke, Arkansas, where the movie "The Legend of Boggy Creek" was filmed.
Markham and his wife were exploring Boggy Creek when they noticed something on the other side of the creek. Upon closer inspection, they found two massive footprints in the mud, as well as skid marks and broken saplings. Markham quickly made a cast of the best footprint, which took about an hour and a half to set.
During that time, Markham says he could feel the presence of the creature or creatures that made the footprints. The feeling was so real that he still gets chills telling the story.
Dr. Jeff Meldrum, a world-famous Bigfoot expert from Boise State, examined the cast and confirmed that it was one of the most impressive he had ever seen. The toes of the cast are spread wide, while the heel is narrow, indicating that the creature put all of its weight on its toes to jump across the creek. The cast measures approximately 13 inches wide and 17 inches long.
Markham also mentions that he has an awesome soundtrack that goes with his Sasquatch display, featuring actual Bigfoot soundings, crickets, and frogs.
The video from Selkirk Range Sasquatch is definitely worth a watch for any Bigfoot enthusiast. It's always exciting to hear about personal encounters and see the evidence that was found. Who knows, maybe one day we'll all have our own Sasquatch stories to tell.
