Cabin Confrontation: Mysterious Bigfoot Encounter Near Hyatt Lake

A chilling tale of an encounter with a mysterious creature comes to us from the YouTube channel Base Camp Chris. The story comes from Jeff, who grew up in Ashland, Oregon, a town known for its Shakespeare Festival and beautiful natural surroundings. Jeff and three of his friends, Rich, Rod, and Steve, decided to go snowmobiling near Hyatt Lake, which is located in the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument. The cabin they stayed in was on stilts and had been in Jeff's family for years. One night, while they were staying there, Jeff was awoken by a loud pounding on the side of the cabin. He got up to investigate and saw a large, humanoid creature with broad shoulders and long arms, covered in hair, pushing against the side of the cabin. The creature had deep-set eyes and a guttural growl, and it was estimated to be around eight feet tall. The creature's pounding was so strong that it caused fishing rods and pictures to fall off the walls. Jeff's friends came down the stairs to see what was going on, and they all went outside to confront the creature, but it was gone. They did find massive footprints in the snow, measuring 20 inches long and 10 inches wide, with a stride that was too long for any of them to replicate. The group decided to follow the tracks, which led them to the shore of Hyatt Lake. However, they stopped when they saw that the tracks led out onto the lake, which was only three-quarters of a mile wide at that point. They were concerned about the ice being unstable due to the fresh snow and decided to head back to the cabin. Jeff's mother recently told him that after he had told her and his father about the encounter, she had her own strange experience at the cabin. She felt like she was being watched while she was outside and then rocks came flying out of the trees, hitting the ground near her.
