Mike Patterson's Extraordinary Sasquatch Encounters in Canada

In a recent episode of Strange Planet, host Richard welcomes Mike Patterson, a controversial Bigfoot researcher who has had numerous personal encounters with a family of Sasquatch in a remote area of Canada. Patterson's interest in Sasquatch began in 2008, after a childhood sighting and an epiphany to search for the hairy folk. Patterson's first close vocal encounter with Sasquatch occurred on October 25th, 2008, in the GTA, where he heard a rapid triple chest thump and three giant raspy guttural whoops. Since then, he has had many personal contact experiences that have given him incredible insight into their existence and how Sasquatch interacts with humans. During the interview, Patterson shares his experience of seeing a Sasquatch as a child, at the age of 10, in Denby Ontario. He was fishing with his family when he saw something standing on two legs at the side of the road. He ran back to the campground and couldn't speak for some time. It wasn't until he got involved in Sasquatch research that he realized what he had seen. Patterson spent about four years frequenting the same location and different areas where he had his first close vocal encounter. He would do a signature knock to announce his presence and heard his knock come out of the woods loud and clear. He also saw Sasquatch walk through snow right beside him and the other person he was with, but they couldn't see anything. Patterson was then invited to investigate a property where a family believed they had seen a Bigfoot on their property. After his interview with the couple, he was invited to their cottage in the core of the Lakes Region. He learned that proximity of humans means nothing and that Sasquatch can be found even in areas with a lot of cottages.
