If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, you're going to want to check out this fascinating video from the YouTube channel Rocky Mountain Sasquatch. In the video, the channel's hosts travel to the location of a Bigfoot sighting report near Lime Creek, south of Silverton, Colorado.
The report comes from a family of four who were backpacking in the San Juan mountains in Colorado in July of 1998. While they were scouting out the area for an upcoming elk hunt, they spotted a "big black bear-looking creature" about 200 yards away. The creature was running away from them at a fast pace, and the family estimated that it was around eight feet tall.
The husband, who is a black bear hunter, was skeptical at first, but the wife insists that what she saw was no ordinary bear. She describes the creature's movements as "gliding" along at a fast pace, and says that it made all types of vocalizations that sounded like a bear, but not quite.
The Rocky Mountain Sasquatch team visited the exact location of the sighting and conducted a follow-up investigation. They didn't find any footprints or physical evidence of a Bigfoot, but they did hear several bear vocalizations and saw bear evidence in other places around Silverton.
One of the hosts, who is also a bear hunter, believes that Bigfoot is out there, just like any other herbivore or omnivore. He thinks that the food in the area is enough to support a Bigfoot, and that people have seen it eating fish, carrying off deer, and eating rabbits.
The team didn't have any definitive proof of a Bigfoot sighting during their investigation, but the witness's description of the creature's movements and vocalizations is certainly intriguing. If you're interested in Bigfoot sightings and investigations, this is a must-watch video.
