Sasquatch Sightings in Columbia River Gorge: Reports and Realities

The conversation then turned to Skamania County, which back in the 1960s, passed laws making it illegal to hunt Bigfoot, with significant fines and jail time for those who violate the law. Szubski explained that the laws were enacted due to both the high number of documented Bigfoot sightings in the area and the fear of people coming to the area with rifles, causing a significant fear of accidents.
