If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, you're in for a treat. A YouTube channel by the name of "Bigfoot: Back to the Basics" has recently released a video that takes us on a journey through the Colville National Forest, located in the northeastern corner of Washington State. This forest is home to a variety of wildlife, including black bears, bighorn sheep, cougars, bald eagles, Canadian lynxes, moose, and the last remaining herd of caribou in the lower 48. But that's not all - there have been numerous reports of Sasquatch or Bigfoot sightings in this area over the years. The video, titled "Episode: 1 The Locations," takes us on a tour of the Colville National Forest, highlighting the stunning summits and lush old growth forests that cover 1.1 million acres of this beautiful region. The forest is home to three major valleys that were carved out by Ice Age glaciers over 10,000 years ago. Today, numerous carved summits tower up to seven thousand feet above the valley floor, challenging the misconception that the only impressive peaks lie to the west in the Cascade mountain range. But what really caught our attention in this video are the reports of Sasquatch sightings in Stevens County, which is nestled in the heart of the Colville National Forest and part of the Selkirk mountain range. Reports of a wild man have been circulating in this area for years, with possible Sasquatch tracks found in Bosburg, Washington in November 1969. Sasquatch Hunters, including renowned hunter Renowned Sasquatch Hunter and many others, descended upon the area to investigate these tracks. They found 1089 footprints ranging from near the Columbia River across the railroad tracks and the main Highway, over a 43 inch high wired fence, across flatland and halfway up a hill, and then disappearing into the river. Five days later, a U.S border patrolman found similar tracks on the other side of the river. The video also features a Bigfoot researcher by the name of Will, who has been researching Bigfoot activity in Stevens County Washington for almost 15 years. He takes us on a tour of two locations where he has had experiences and collected evidence over the years. He shares his stories and much more as he ventures deeper into these two locations in search of the truth about our favorite Cryptid. As a curator for Squatchable, I am always on the lookout for new and interesting Bigfoot content to share with our readers. This video from "Bigfoot: Back to the Basics" is definitely worth a watch. It's full of fascinating information about the Colville National Forest and the possible Sasquatch activity in the area.
