Mysterious Kansas Creature & Bright Light Encounter in Blue Ridge Mountains

Recently, I came across an intriguing video on YouTube from the channel Sasquatch Chronicles. The video, titled "SC EP:798 No Creature, No Deer and No Light," features a testimony from a witness named Jonathan, who had a strange encounter in 2018 while driving in Patrick County, Virginia. Jonathan, a visual artist and graphic designer, had been spending weekends in the Blue Ridge Mountains working on a passion project. On this particular evening, he found himself driving back to his cabin on Route 58 around 6 PM. As he approached a windy road called Virginia Route 8, he noticed a bright light in the distance. Assuming it was another car with its brights on, Jonathan flashed his own brights to signal the other driver. However, the light didn't change, and Jonathan grew confused as he got closer to the source. As he continued driving, the light remained bright and unchanging, even as he slowed down to a near stop. Frustrated, he hit his brights again, and the light suddenly exploded into a brilliant flash, blinding Jonathan and causing him to stop his car entirely. After the flash, the light disappeared, leaving Jonathan in complete darkness. Despite the lack of a visible vehicle, Jonathan remained cautious, as there was nowhere for the other driver to have turned off. He sat in his car, waiting for any sign of movement or light.
