If you're a Bigfoot enthusiast, you're going to want to hear this fascinating account from Chris Patty, shared on the YouTube channel Beyond the Woodline. Chris is a member of the JRG, a research group with teams across the United States and Canada, including Minnesota, Florida, Ohio, California, Michigan, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas. The JRG is always looking for new members to help with research, whether it's getting out in the field or doing research from behind a computer.
During the episode, Chris shares his own personal encounter with what he believes to be a Sasquatch. It all started when he was on a 10-day camping trip in the Tamagami area of Northeastern Ontario. While paddling in a canoe with his younger brother, Chris saw something strange on the shore. At first, he thought it was a bear drinking water from the lake, but as he watched, the creature stood up on two legs and walked off into the bush. Chris's brother also saw the creature and noted that it didn't look like a bear. The creature was dressed all in black, from its balaclava to its ski pants and boots, and had unusually large hands.
Chris didn't realize the significance of his sighting until years later, when he started hearing more reports of Sasquatch sightings in Ontario and doing his own research. He eventually put two and two together and realized that what he had seen was a Sasquatch.
Since then, Chris has had other strange encounters, including feeling like he was being watched while turkey hunting and hearing weird noises while deer hunting. He believes that these experiences are all connected to his initial Sasquatch sighting.
