Big Brown Bear's Bigfoot Encounter in Kamchatka: Share Your Story

In a chilling encounter from the YouTube channel Ontario Cryptids, a massive battle between a brown bear and a Sasquatch is recounted in a letter from a seasoned hunter named Frank. The encounter took place on the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia, where Frank's ex-partner and fellow hunter, JD, had a harrowing experience with a bear while hunting. JD and his team had been tracking a large brown bear for four days when they stumbled upon an epic battle site near a creek choked with strawberry bushes. The area was torn up, with saplings snapped like soda straws and bushes ripped up, indicating a fierce struggle had taken place. JD assumed the bear had been in a territorial dispute with another bear, but upon closer inspection, he noticed something unusual. A large tree branch, four and a half to five feet long and about five to six inches in diameter, had blood and fur on the big end. The boar was badly beaten up, with unusual wounds from a bear fight. When they rolled him over to skin him, they found a large area on his chest and stomach where the fur was pulled out, including claw marks. The claw marks were spread out wide apart between the fingers, indicating they were not from a bear. Instead, they appeared to come from a very large pair of hands. In addition, there were several large bite marks on the bear's neck and shoulders, with teeth marks that were more rounded or molar-like and horseshoe-shaped. JD had never seen anything like it before. The local guides shared an account of what had happened. The boss boar had come up the creek into the wind and surprised a female Sasquatch in her berry patch. The big male Sasquatch had jumped in from cover where he had been feeding and attacked the bear. The fight was horrific but brief, with the female Sasquatch fleeing with her youngsters as soon as she was safely out of danger. The male Sasquatch had inflicted some pretty severe bites to the bear but had been severely injured in the process. The boar had inflicted a severe bite to the Sasquatch's thigh and several nasty off-balance paw swats. JD had hunted all over the world and had taken several other bears, but he had never seen wounds like these before. The guide who had returned to the area after the season was over had a strange encounter as well. He had parked his snowmobile on a ridge above the fight scene and had gone down to the Little River to catch some salmon.
