A recent video posted on the YouTube channel BIGFOOT! / William Jevning has caught the attention of Squatchable, a website for Bigfoot enthusiasts, witnesses, and researchers. The video, titled "BIGFOOT! THE MONDAY REVIEW | Haunted Valley | Episode 5," discusses a sighting of a Sasquatch in Yakult, Washington. The video begins with host William Jevning, a two-time witness and field researcher with over 40 years of experience, discussing the book "Haunted Valley" written by himself and published in 2018. The book focuses on Southwest Washington State, specifically Skamania County, which has a long and dark history of unknown beings inhabiting the Mount Saint Helens region. One particular valley, known as Yakult or "haunted valley" by the native people, was feared and known to be a dwelling place of cannibal giants. New American settlers and fortune seekers moved west and built homes and farms in the valley, ignoring the native warnings. Over the years, families in the valley discovered they were not the only inhabitants and kept quiet about the forest dwellers, accepting the occasional disappearance of farm animals as a fair price to pay for the other inhabitants to keep their distance. The video then discusses the Goldhammer family, who moved to Yakult in 1989. In June of that year, Brenda Goldhammer and her teenage stepson Nicholas saw a huge, hairy creature with a high-pitched scream and a face like a gorilla in the woods behind their house. The sighting was reported in the Columbian newspaper, but as is typical in reported Bigfoot sightings, there was no solid physical evidence left behind. William Jevning, intrigued by the sighting, decided to visit the Goldhammer family to talk to them about their experience. He took his girlfriend Alice and her 13-year-old son Joshua with him. They arrived at the Goldhammer's small farm and spoke with Nick Goldhammer, who had also seen the creature. Nick told Jevning that three other people had already been there to get their story and look for physical evidence, but all had found nothing and left. Jevning, being an experienced Sasquatch investigator, explained to the Goldhammer family that many people want to become Sasquatch Hunters but have little or no experience in the issue and when they don't find easy evidence give up quickly. He told them about his personal experiences and they told him that he was the only investigator they had spoken with that had also seen one of the same creatures they had seen and said they felt more comfortable talking with him about what they saw. The video is a fascinating account of a Sasquatch sighting and the aftermath. Squatchable encourages readers to watch the video and form their own opinions about the sighting. It is important to note that while there is no solid physical evidence in this case, the sighting is still worth considering and discussing. Squatchable respects all ideas and opinions and encourages open-mindedness when it comes to the topic of Bigfoot or Sasquatch.
