In a video posted to the YouTube channel BIGFOOT! / William Jevning, host William Jevning delves into the history of the Abominable Snowman, also known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch. Jevning, a two-time witness and field researcher with over 40 years of experience, takes viewers on a journey through the book "Abominable Snowman" by Ivan T. Sanderson, published in 1961.
In chapter 14, entitled "The Eastern Horizon," Sanderson discusses the concept of the Abominable Snowman and its continued existence in Eastern Eurasia. Despite reports from travelers throughout the ages, the existence of the Abominable Snowman did not penetrate the collective mind of Russian scholarship any more than it did in the West.
Jevning reads from Sanderson's book, discussing the Russian expedition to the Pamirs and their lack of preparation and preconceived notions. The Russians had made special investigations in the Caucasus and sent a party to the northern face of the Everest block, but came back just as mystified and empty-handed.
The video highlights the discovery of reports from a scientist named Va Kakloff, who submitted a detailed report on the East Asiatic absms to the Russian Imperial Academy of Sciences in 1913. Despite making valuable contributions to the field of zoology, Kakloff was denied funds to continue his field investigations and was told to shut up.
Jevning also mentions a young man named BB Berayden, who specialized in eastern folklore and encountered an ABSM at close range while in a caravan in Mongolia in 1905-07. Berayden made a full report on this, but his boss, SF Oldenburg, ordered him to delete all mention of the matter from his report.
The video serves as a reminder of the importance of open-mindedness and the need to consider all evidence when it comes to the study of the Abominable Snowman. Jevning encourages viewers to do their own research and come to their own conclusions.
It's worth noting that the video does not provide any concrete evidence of the existence of Bigfoot, but rather offers a historical perspective on the topic. As with any paranormal subject, it's important to keep an open mind and consider all possibilities.
If you're interested in learning more about the Abominable Snowman and its place in history, this video is definitely worth a watch. And who knows, it may even inspire you to do some of your own research on the subject.
