Macclesfield Cryptid Encounter: Mysterious Growls and Ghostly Apparitions

Kaz and his wife were planning on sleeping in their living room, which has a front window facing the road, when they heard a metallic twangy noise outside. Shortly after, they heard a deep, loud growl that lasted for 20-30 seconds, and they could feel it as well as hear it. Kaz described it as sounding like a big cat's growl, but much more concerning. The next day, Kaz checked YouTube for animal noises and found a big cat's growl that was the same as what they had heard. He also noticed that their dogs have been acting strangely in the garden, and there were strange marks on some trees that looked like claw marks. Kaz mentioned that he had heard similar metallic twangs before witnesses see or experience a cryptid creature. Kaz also shared another strange experience from his teenage years. He and his friends saw a strange figure walking along the road, and it wasn't an average human figure. It was a female figure made up of a static-like flicker, and she seemed to be about seven feet tall. They realized she was not walking on the modern road surface, but about a foot and a half off the ground. Kaz believes they saw Marianne Brocklehurst, an English traveler and collector of Egyptian antiquities, who is said to be cursed. Another witness, Claire, shared her experience of hearing a growl close to Crime Lake in the Daisy Nook Nature Reserve. She described it as a mixture of a growl and a roar, and it was nothing they recognized as usual wildlife. Claire also mentioned that as a child, they would often hear strange noises in the bushes and attributed it to the local legend of Peggy Lantern.
